DIY

So I guess for today I'll just write some stuff down for you all to read ("Anybody? Is there anybody out there?"). Today is my last day of my 9 week holiday between first and second year of college and therefore is rather an unfitting time to start a blog. Don't get me wrong, I've done this before, but I lost interest in that blog as I realised it wasn't really me. So I'm starting anew, old blog deleted, new blog ... new.

As such, I'll begin by telling you my DIYs as of the moment. Well, first, and simplest of all, was the sewing back together of my wristband from Leeds festival (I had to cut it off, the pliers weren't complying).  Anyway, that's done.

Second was the galaxy print shorts. I've never been one for what I call 'catwalk fashions', but they're often hard to get away from and this print was pretty out of this world, pun intended (shoot me now). So by layering paint, I managed to create a cheap and, in my opinion, fairly impressive inspired piece. I'll do a post including those later on.

Third was the Harry Potter T-shirt (which I'm thinking of befriending with the shorts). Although the books outweigh the films, I'm suddenly in a state of serious denial.

I also bought a dress from Deep a couple of weeks ago, and that's gonna get chopped up and reworked to look less grannyish.

But for now, I'm at this very moment off to turn some white shorts lilac. Though, knowing my luck, it'll be a case of 'die' and not 'dye'.

I'll post all of these things in some form or other in the future, near or far, but if you've read through this I thank you, and hopefully I'll see y'all later.
